Is the Plant Sale accessible?

Cranbrook House & Gardens is a historic facility preserved and maintained as closely as possible to its original design. As such, in some sections of the Plant Sale area there are certain natural and artificial surface conditions, such as wood chips, stones, steep slopes, narrow pathways, and uneven terrain which can make walking and use of a wheelchair difficult. Assistance for persons using wheelchairs or walkers is recommended.

One accessible parking space is located by the Plant Sale area and three additional ones on the drive just south of Cranbrook House. There is directional signage onsite to help locate these spaces and they are also indicated on our map.

Our volunteers can assist with transporting plants to the accessible parking areas.
