Cranbrook House Tour Information

To ensure an enjoyable visit, please review the information below and on our Estate Etiquette page before your arrival date. Check-in locations and arrival times for private tours may vary from what is listed below. If you booked a private tour, please refer to the instructions sent to you upon confirmation. 

Tickets
Tickets are not mailed for Cranbrook House tours. If booking online, your order confirmation will serve as your receipt. Please bring a copy of your order confirmation with you to your tour (either electronically or printed).  

Arrival Time
Tours start promptly at their scheduled time. Please arrive 15 to 20 minutes ahead of your scheduled tour to allow time to park and walk up to Cranbrook House for check-in. Late arrivals must wait for the next available tour. On weekends, the doors are locked once the tour begins.

Check-In
Docents will greet you inside the front door of Cranbrook House.

Tour Length
75 minutes

Attire
Guests are encouraged to wear clothes that are comfortable to walk in and appropriate for the season. Cranbrook House is not air conditioned. 

Drinking Fountain
Located at the Gatehouse Welcome Center (May through October). 

Restrooms
Located at the Gatehouse Welcome Center (May through October) and in the lower level of Cranbrook House.

Parking & Bus Drop Off
Please park in the main lot at Cranbrook House & Gardens. Bus drop-off is located on the drive north of the parking lot. Additional parking is available on Lone Pine Road. 

Accessibility
Cranbrook House & Gardens is a historic facility preserved and maintained as closely as possible to its original design. As such, there are certain natural and artificial surface conditions, such as grass, wood chip, stones, stairs, steep slopes and uneven terrain which can make walking and use of a wheelchair difficult. Assistance for persons using wheelchairs or walkers is recommended. Please contact us with questions or concerns regarding accessibility.
