Steinway Piano Recitals

Enjoy classical performances in the Cranbrook House Library during our annual Steinway Piano Recitals. Performances typically occur monthly from February through April. The recitals feature Cranbrook’s 1929 Steinway & Sons Model D Concert Grand Piano—iconic for its use by Leonard Bernstein.

Berofsky's playing has been called “Beautiful, the kind of music-making that gives one true pleasure.” Harding's performances have generated acclaim and impressed audiences and critics alike with his substantive interpretations and pianistic mastery. The duo will perform Mozart, Debussy, and Brahms.

Julia Siciliano, piano
Gabriel Bolkosky, violin

Siciliano is an award-winning concert pianist who has been heralded as a musician with “fabulous creative power.” Bolkosky has been praised for the way he "takes audiences into his confidence and includes them." This duo will perform Boulanger, Ravel, and Franck.

Alexander Wasserman, piano

Described as a “pianist of real firework” by EarRelevant, Wasserman is a concerto soloist, chamber musician, and educator. This recital will feature pieces by Rameau, Babadjanian, Rachmaninoff, and Balakirev.
