The scenic gardens, iconic artwork, and other natural and tended outdoor spaces at Cranbrook Gardens are now available as an unforgettable backdrop for your family, engagement, wedding, senior, and other portrait photos!
Spring Session Notice
Please Note: Restrooms do not open until late April (depending on weather). Fountains are also typically turned on and sculptures uncovered in early May. The annuals in areas like the Sunken Garden are usually planted around Memorial Day Weekend.
Construction: The lawn on the north side of the Reflecting Pool will be fenced off through June while we repair the retaining wall in this area.
We recommend using the natural wooded areas, beautiful fieldstone walls, and rich architecture for your portraits during the spring. Popular areas include the Cranbrook House Courtyard, The Mountain, and the Japanese Garden.
Admission
1-4 people being photographed: $300
5-10 people being photographed: $500
11-16 people being photographed: $700
Sessions may not exceed 16 people (not including the photographer).
Registration is required three business days in advance of the session.
If you are a Cranbrook Schools high school senior, Cranbrook employee, or current Cranbrook Schools family, please do not book online, email photos@cranbrook.edu for accommodation.
