Learn about Cranbrook Gardens--from the iconic Sunken Garden to “hidden” wonders like the Bog Garden--firsthand from the volunteers who care for them. Enjoy a keynote presentation by Richard Thomas, a member of the Oudolf Garden Detroit Grounds Crew. Explore the Butterfly Garden, Herb Garden, Japanese Garden, and more.

Admission
Registration includes access to your choice of the morning or afternoon keynote lecture, plus any of the other activities you would like to attend. Space is limited. 

$40 per person

Rain & Refund Policy
The Garden Symposium is a rain or shine event. Guests will receive a full refund if the event is canceled by Cranbrook due to severe inclement weather or other reasons. The event is otherwise nonrefundable.


Pet Policy
Only service animals are permitted inside Cranbrook House and on the grounds during this event.


Additional Information
The keynote presentation will take place indoors in the Cranbrook House Library (please note this room is not air conditioned). Guests will be seated during the talk. 

All other activities will include walking outdoors around the grounds and multiple sets of stairs. Guests must be able to walk and stand through most of these topics. We recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes and dressing for the weather.
