About the Conservatory Greenhouse
Cranbrook’s original Greenhouse was built in 1908, the same year as the Albert Kahn-designed Cranbrook House. The current structure was built in 1950 and features growing habitats for tropical plants, orchids, and more.
The Conservatory Greenhouse is open to the public for free (donations are always welcome) on Mondays and Thursdays from 11:00am to 2:00pm and during the Winter Houseplant Sale. Plants are only available for purchase during the Winter Houseplant Sale.
The Greenhouse is managed by Cranbrook House & Gardens volunteers.
