COVID-19 Updates

CLOSURE UPDATE
Monday, June 8, 2020

All campus buildings, including Cranbrook House and our restrooms, are currently closed to the public. We encourage everyone who chooses to visit the grounds during this time to follow social distancing and other preventive guidelines recommended by the CDC and Governor Whitmer’s Executive Orders. Guests must follow our Estate Etiquette guidelines and photography policies at all times.

Due to the financial strain caused by the current situation, our water features will not be running this season.

As we make plans to open for the season, please follow us on social media, join our email list, or check back here for updates.

CRANBROOK HOUSE CLOSED UNTIL SAFE TO REOPEN
Friday, March 13, 2020

Dear Cranbrook House & Gardens Friends and Family,

Due to uncertainties presented by the coronavirus (COVID-19), Cranbrook Educational Community had made the decision to close Cranbrook House to visitors and volunteers as a precautionary measure. Cranbrook House will be closed until deemed safe to reopen. The closure is effective immediately.

All tours, events, and meetings scheduled during this time will be canceled or postponed and guests who have already registered will receive a separate email with more details regarding their reservation.

Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause. The safety, security, and welfare of guests, staff, students, members and volunteers is Cranbrook’s top priority. We hope to welcome you back to Cranbrook House at a future date.

As the nature of the outbreak is rapidly evolving, we will reassess the situation and share announcements via email and our website as they become available. In the meantime, we encourage you to follow us on social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) and download our free app to experience Cranbrook House & Gardens virtually.

Cranbrook is continuing to monitor and follow the guidelines recommended by the CDC and we encourage you to do the same. Thank you for your understanding and support of Cranbrook House & Gardens. We hope you and yours remain healthy and safe and look forward to seeing you at Cranbrook soon.

Sincerely,

Eric Franchy, PR Manager
