Visit with Santa and have your family photo taken inside the magical Cranbrook House Library. A scavenger hunt and hands-on activities will add to the fun for children and parents will enjoy shopping in the gift shop. Children will receive a complimentary favor and guests will also get to see Mrs. Claus!
Admission
$50 per family
This is Santa's busy time of year and he can only see a limited number of children on his Cranbrook House stop. Only eight families will be admitted per time slot. Reservations are required by Thursday, November 30, 2023 at 12:00pm.
Become a Member to Register Early
The Santa Sighting often sells out. Become a Cranbrook House & Gardens Auxiliary member to be among the first to reserve a space with Santa. Members also receive:

How to Register
Santa Sighting registration opens Thursday, September 21, 2023 at 12:00pm for Cranbrook House & Gardens Auxiliary members. An email with early access to the online registration will be sent to all current members from houseandgardens@cranbrook.edu.*
Registration opens on Thursday, October 5, 2023 at 12:00pm for the public. Links to register will be available at the bottom of this page when registration opens to the public.

Refund Policy
Reservations are nonrefundable. Your Santa Sighting registration helps fund general operations at Cranbrook House & Gardens. Thank you for your support!

Restrooms
Restrooms are available in the lower level of Cranbrook House during the event.
Mittens for Detroit Collection
Cranbrook House is proud to serve as a Mittens for Detroit collection site during our Santa Sighting. Mittens for Detroit, Inc. is a nonprofit with the purpose of collecting, purchasing, and distributing new mittens and gloves to children and adults in need in Detroit, and other underserved cities. Please consider bringing a pair of new gloves or mittens to donate.

Parking is available onsite in our main lot. Additional parking is available on Lone Pine Road. Accessible parking is available just south of the Cranbrook House Courtyard.

Family Photo/Photography Policy
A complimentary digital photo of each child with Santa is included with your registration. A link to download your photo will be sent to you by Friday, December 8, 2023 (please add efranchy@cranbrook.edu and houseandgardens@cranbrook.edu to your contact list to ensure delivery).
Please note that the photo link will contain a folder for each family organized by last name.
We also welcome you to bring your own camera for personal use only. Tripods and other photography equipment are not permitted.
