Membership with Cranbrook House and Gardens Auxiliary offers a great way to meet new people while supporting one of the region’s most treasured National Historic Landmarks. All volunteers must register as members.

Membership Features 


Get Involved By

  • Leading tours as a docent.
  • Gardening and/or joining the Native Plant/Wildflower Rescue Program.
  • Helping raise needed funds by preparing for or working at events.
  • Volunteering in the Conservatory Greenhouse.
  • Volunteering in the Gatehouse Welcome Center.
  • Volunteering in the Thistle Gift Shop.
  • Providing grant writing assistance.
  • Making a donation to Cranbrook House and Gardens Auxiliary.
  • Shopping at affiliate sites that donate a percentage of the sale back to Cranbrook House and Gardens Auxiliary.
  • Participating in one of the many areas in between!

Volunteers who log 50 or more hours of service in a fiscal year are eligible to waive their membership dues the following fiscal year. Please call 248 645.3149 or email with any questions.

Cranbrook House and Gardens Auxiliary is a non-profit, volunteer organization dedicated to preserving, restoring, and maintaining Cranbrook House and Gardens and related cultural properties for the enjoyment, education, and cultural enrichment of our members, the Cranbrook Community, and the public.
